Is Love a Fancy, Or A Feeling?

Is love a fancy, or a feeling? No.
It is immortal as immaculate Truth,
'Tis not a blossom shed as soon as youth,
Drops from the stem of life - for it will grow,
In barren regions, where no waters flow,
Nor ray of promise cheats the pensive gloom.

Well, if you believe "The Darkness" (a band), "Love is Only a Feeling" (from a song of theirs). But I'm slowly learning to branch out, and accept advice from sources other than glam-rockers.

Pugsy my dear - Love is so many things and it is very difficult to define and receive. :)

And Puggles my dearest, you wanted closure on the 'Lighthouse' story, so check out comment 8 in that posting.x

I'm with you on that, which is why I'm thinking of writing "Love For Dummies". You see, here in the U.S., those "[ANY TOPIC] for Dummies" books are very popular. We'll buy anything that targets us specifically as the intended audience. And the beauty is, I don't even have to know the subject I'm writing about! They'll purchase the book ANYWAY! Heck, I'll likely end up grabbing a copy, just on impulse.

Okay, meet you at Comment 8 on the Lighthouse post.

Well Puggles, good luck with that book, maybe I should get a copy myself I need some help in the 'Love' department. If you're reading this pop down to comment 9 in the Lighthouse saga, there's more, there's always more. :) <3
