Your Melody Calls Me

I hear your sweet melody

It touches the core of my soul

It inspires me to spread my wings

And soar to the Heavens so high

Soft wisps of clouds brush past me

Like the soft wings of Angels

As I float so high

I drift on the chords of your melody

So beautiful, it takes my breath away

I hear the voices of Angels

Their song is the sound of restoration

Of being whole and complete

But still your melody which has brought me here

Tugs at me and calls me back...

Then slowly I fall to the water like raindrops

To the surface of the sparkling water

The bubbles and spray caress my face

A place where so many tears have fallen

When I have fallen from grace

Then I swim as if I am a mermaid

Feel the water, liquid and soft

Like the touch of silk against my naked skin

I go with the flow of the river

Like so many fallen leaves

So liberating to feel this free

Cast off the clothes of convention

Hear the soft ripples

As their song soothes my soul

And your melody sets me free

And I return to the womb of the ocean

To the welcoming song of the sea

To the place in the distant past

Where my life once began...

Just like Foam, I can't simply go to ocean especially because i can't swim..I just love getting myself all soaked up in rivers and waterfall flows..not the salty ocean. Lovely words dianne..

It probably wasn't MY melody, because you did not mention it calling "collect".

Thank you Foamy my sweet friend, I'm pleased you liked my prose.
I love the water and the ocean but I don't go out too far or too deep as sometimes you can get into trouble with the undercurrents and 'rips'.

Don't worry while I am returning to my 'womb' of the ocean I will remember to come up for air and breathe...
I just need a little time to get back to my inner being and do a little emotional healing and water is so soothing.
thanks for caring. xo ♡

Thanks K9 my sweet friend and protector, yes I am so lucky to have you...
I have been on a slippery slope but I feel I am coming to a stop...
the water is a little rough at the moment, the tides keep turning on me but soon I hope I will be floating in calmer waters where the water is soothing, time to exhale and take a deep breath...
thats if I don't let myself drown.
See my sweet my 'heart'is still here a little wounded but it will heal and thank you also for caring. xo ♡

Thanks HLiza sweet friend, I'm pleased that you liked my words, quite a journey that music and my imagination took me on.
Wet is wet and its just as much fun cooling down in a river or standing under a waterfall, now that is a lovely experience. xo ♡

No Puggles my sweet it definitely wasn't your melody as I didn't hear any operators asking me if I would accept the charges for a 'collect' call...anyway I would nto have heard I was so lost in my dream world.
Tell you what it was a lovely journey, so many lovely thoughts and feelings I encountered on my ascent to the Heavens and on my return to the ocean...speaking imaginatively of course. ♡

Don't worry dear Foamy and dear K9 , I am in very deep water but I am swimming towards the light...I almost drowned once came too close to death but once I stopped struggling I wasn't afraid it was very peaceful that's why I mention the 'womb' of the ocean, it was warm and comforting as the light called me and guided me towards the surface...and it will again. ♡

Thank you dear /t. you are very kind...

yes such a lovely feeling,a gentle feeling, our imagination is amazing when we let it wander freely and it is inspired by something we have seen, felt or heard. ♡
