Some Flowers for Springtime

Spring Meadow

As sunshine bathes
the meadows bright

The buds of Springtime
come to life

Bursting forth
their petals faire

Their subtle perfume
scents the air...

So pretty! We'll be getting some yellow soon, too, but it'll be those autumn golds and not springtime sunny colors :)

Thanks Diane dear,
you are looking forward to those golds of Autumn and they are so beautiful whereas I am waiting for a lot of my buds to blossom, some have already as we have had a mild Winter.
It is a lovely day today, the sun is shining and the air is filled with the scent of jasmine and native flowers. :) ♡

Thanks dear friend Foamy

Yes I'm sure to enjoy Spring, I love the weather when its not too hot or humid and as soon as some more of my flowers bloom I will be out in the garden taking photos.
I'm pleased you loved my words...I hope you have a lovely Fall and all the beauty it has to offer. ♡

Hi Dianne

Is that your photograph ? If so, I like it, especially the foreground, beautiful textures and dynamic movement into the distance! Thank you

Best wishes, Glyn X

perfect pairing of words and image. and now i head into the colors of fall. so fun to have a friend in spring.

dianne said...

Thank you dear Shweta

yes I think this meadow is so beautiful, the more you look the more you see and want to explore... it would be lovely to just step into the picture and lose yourself in the surroundings, look at the sky,lay amongst the flowers and enjoy the meadow scent.
Now you have to get back to your study but you can always come back and have another look at the picture. :) ♡

Thanks dear chickory

I thought the image was perfect for Spring and believe me I looked at so many before I found this.
I was going to post a poem by Shakespeare or Wordsworth but I couldn't find one that was what I wanted to express, just something simple.
Yes you have a friend in Spring and I have a friend in Fall, its lovely to have you as a friend no matter what the season. xo ♡

My development company may be interested in that tract of land for a shopping mall. It will have one of those "Nature" stores featuring Enya CDs, wind chimes and essences from natural plants.

dianne said...

Oh Puggles my sweet,
I'm sorry but that land is heritage listed and zoned 'not for developement'.
As attractive as your 'Nature' store would be with its alternative/world music, oils and essences derived from plants, pot pourri, incense, wind chimes, silver jewellery and clothes made from hemp and Indian cotton... I really don't think it would be a suitable retail investment for this rural area.
However, it is just the kind of store where I love to browse and shop...we have two just like it in the shopping Mall in a nearby suburb...one is called 'India Fox' the other 'Tree of Life'; maybe you and I could set up our own business venture somewhere else? :) ♡

I dunno ... would our venture displace wifelife and then charge a pretty penny to recreate it? If yes, then I suppose I CAN be flexible regarding locale.

dianne said...

We would have to do an 'enviromental impact study' my sweet because I couldnt be responsible for displacing natural vegetation and wildlife...
We could build our complex in an area which is already zoned for 'commercial' developement, then we could do the right thing and as part of our plan create plenty of 'green' space for all to enjoy; ethical and responsible developement my sweet. ♡

I have just been over to look at your Summer photos once more, so green...I just love the pic of your 'West Coulee',how lovely it is, soon it will turn to shades of gold and amber as Fall arrives then glisten with the white of Winter snow. ♡
