How Cute is This ?

This cute little bird is an Australian Magpie, I don't know whether it is a female or a male.
It is a juvenile and has lost all of its fluffy baby feathers and now has it mottled juvenile feathers, they serve as a kind of camouflage so that it can blend in with the native landscape and protect it from eagles, raptors, snakes and other predators.
This little one joins me outside for lunch when I'm at home, it sits on the seat right next to me which I think is rather special... it seems to enjoy the wholegrain bread I use for my sandwich though I have since bought some native bird seed for this one and the others that join me and of course there are plenty of natural things in my garden for them to eat.
I really enjoy its company, it taps on my back door with its beak to let me know when it is there along with its Mum, Dad, brothers and sisters and of course the rest of the flock of magpies.
They all sound so beautiful when they sing their warbling song together...it is such a pleasant sound.
I will post some more photos of my backyard visitors in the future but right now I have run out of time so I've gotta go... ♥

Hi Foamy dearest friend

Yes I think she/he is extremely cute and my three kitties don't go out at any time at all for that reason, there is so much wildlife in my garden and I don't want it to be destroyed.
They have free run of the house and their own area in which to play. ♡

I hand feed a group of them in the morning before I go to walk. They sing for their breakfast.

Lee dear that is so nice,
I have a whole lot of them coming to my garden now and I hand feed this one and a few others, they come right up to me.
They are all very friendly and I love their chorus of singing. ♡

how cute is that? a 10! i love that your cats have their won area where they cant hurt birds and other small animals. if every cat owner had that same approach we'd have far more songbirds. i knew i adored you!

Schweta my dear, help is at hand...go to my side bar 'special friends' and click on the link 'Artist-Berry Connell-Time Flies Like an Arrow' that is Boneman and go to his older post on 7th September and he explains how to fix the problem...
other than that I can't help as my son fixed my settings problem for me and he is not here...good luck. ♡

Thank you dear /t.

Hmmm mud pies, not quite the same thing...

Yes my little friend is really cute and sings to me...

My gold ring... Do magpies like shiny things too?
I'm safe I hardly ever wear any golden rings now. ♡

Thank you dearest chickory
I think my little friend is just beautiful and yes I am a very responsible cat owner, my kitties have their own area where they can play and can't hurt any of the birds and wildlife here...then everyone is happy.
At the moment I am listening to a chorus of bell birds, magpies,
currawongs,finches,wrens and silver eyes...I am blessed. ♡

Thanks Corby dear
magpies are cool, they are friendly, cute and I love their warbling song.

I am very fortunate, I have so many birds who visit my garden, it is a fairly safe haven for them as I have planted many trees and shrubs which are suitable for protection and nest building. ♡
