When to the Sessions of Sweet Silent Thought - Sonnet 30

When to the sessions of sweet silent thought
I summon up remembrance of things past,
I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought
And with old woes new wail my my dear time's waste:
Then can I drown an eye, unused to flow,
For precious friends hid in death's dateless night.
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woe,
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sight.
Then can I grieve at grievances forgone,
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'er,
The sad account of fore be-moaned moan,
Which I new pay as if not paid before.
But if the while I think on thee, dear friend,
All losses are restored and sorrows end.

I have difficulty with remembrance of things that aren't in the past. Maybe there's some sort of CD-based product from late night infomercials that could help me, but I always forget to pay attention when they're on.

... sorrows end ..
they do ..
it takes time, but they do..
or at least they get easier to endure.

Lil Lamb made me aware of the rose, I learn something new every day.

Puggles my sweet,
I don't quite understand what you are trying to say here.
So you're telling me that you have trouble remembering things from now?
Do you have a short attention span?
If so you will have to write yourself notes, that's if you can remember to do so. Hmmm, you have me puzzled. ♡

Yes my dearest Foamie and thanks for your kindness, yes the sorrow will pass in time and will be easier to endure...unfortunately I have some time yet to get to that stage and it hurts. ♡

Thanks dear Lee ,for your words of encouragement last night... yes it is a lovely sonnet. ♡

Positive? I don't know... I have certainly been through a range of emotions lately, some of which I'm not proud...I think I have just given up. ♡
