TIL KINGDOM COME - COLDPLAY

Still my heart and hold my tongue
I feel my time
My time has come
Let me in
Unlock the door
I never felt this way before

And the wheels just keep on turning
The drummer begins to drum
I don't know which way I'm going
I don't know which way I've come

Hold my head inside your hands
I need someone who understands
I need someone, someone who hears
For you I've waited all these years
For you I'd wait til kingdom come
Until my day, my day is done
And say you'll come and set me free
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me

In your tears and in your blood
In your fire and in your flood
I hear you laugh, I heard you sing
I wouldn't change a single thing
And the wheels just keep on turning
The drummers begin to drum
I don't know which way I'm going
I don't know what I've become

For you I'd wait til kingdom come
Until my days, my days are done
Just say you'll come and set me free
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me
Just say you'll wait, you'll wait for me

Yep, it's the music you're listening too. I get that way from too much Tom Waits. Try some House or Rave - mindless but fun to listen too, and usually there's few if any words.

Hope you can pull out of the funk soon. If someone is bothering you let me know and I can come out and rough them up a bit, no problem, I need the exercise.

actually .. i agree with phos ..
i was thinking the same thing a while ago.
when i'm really, really depressed, certain music brings me even more down .. even though it might be beautiful ..
i'll put on some reggae instead or some george clinton or the B52's ..
but, we are all different when it comes to what might sooth us..

ps: oh, and i always carry my big virtual stick with me ..
but, you know, dianne .. the situation makes me sad ..
hmmm..

Thank you dear Phos and dear /t. , two noble knights for your offers of valour to come to the aid of a maiden in distress, for one, I am hardly a maiden and it just doesn't matter any more. ♥

I will go and seek out some musicians who play cheerful songs. ♥

Thank you dearest Foamie , very sound advice, something upbeat and cheerful. ♥
Just at the moment I cannot cope with anything too loud or any bright light but I have to stop going over these sad thoughts in my mind, though it is easier said than done.
Trying to keep myself occupied as life has to go on, there is always something that has to be done.
I watched a show about Alaska tonight, very beautiful thought about poor /t. in Canada and others freezing in the cold. ♥

Yeah, this whole situation is very sad. ♥
