When and how does one tell a bee that it has had enough? Maybe it is time for an "Insect Intervention".

But flowers will be lonely without bees! Ha ha ha..nice pictures and scenery you got there Dianne..

Well Puggles my sweet, that may be difficult to achieve without getting stung...whichever bee has been to this lily is heavily laden with pollen and looks as if it has been doing a fertility dance. :) ♡

Thanks dear HLiza , yes I have many bees in my garden, exotic and native bees, they love my flowers.
Some photos were taken in December and somehow the 'greens' dont look as vibrant as they were which is a shame. ♡

Thanks Diane dear,

Happy New Year to you and Ryan, I hope this year is very special for you and brings you the happiness you both deserve. xo ♡

Pleased you liked the pictures dear J Cosmo ... I don't know how the bees get plump as they work so hard but they are all fairly rounded here apart from the native bees which are quite small. xo ♡

Thanks Foamy dear, yes 4.30am is way too early, hope you went back to bed for the rest of your sleep. ♡
I haven't been sleeping very well so got up at 6am this morning, the clouds in the sky outside my window looked so pretty and it was very hot so I went outside to sit in the cool and have my coffee... 85% humidity and hot, but this afternoon we had a storm and lots of rain.
I took the top three photos this morning about 6.45am, you can see how gray the ski is and can almost see the humidity in the top photo, the air was misty.
I want to get some better photos when the sun is shining. :) xo ♡

It's white here as well
very much snow and strong
sunshine, but cold
it's a flowery of light :-D

I'm sure it is beautiful dear Anna how pretty the snow would look with the sun shining.
The only white here is my flowers, the clouds and that mist this morning, I would love some 'cold'. :) xo ♡

Happy New Year :) My very best to you for 2010 ♥
My lilies are just coming up now, wich is proper in this part of the world, and they will bloom in late May- the week of my b-day. They are my favorite flower and it warms my heart on this frigid day to see such beauty in your part of the world. Consider me blessed just to know you can see them ♥

Thanks for visiting phd , yes I have some beautiful trees, foliage and flowers in my garden.
The lemon-scented tea tree 'Leptospermum Petersonii' is so delightful with its pretty white flowers and the leaves give off a strong lemon fragrance as they contain citral and citronellal. They can be made into tea that gives off a wonderful aroma or can be mixed with other tea varieties.
It is one of my favourite small trees in my garden. ♡

Thank you dear Mayden
Happy New Year to you too my friend, I see you must have seen my wishes to you, I hope you have a better year as well.
My lilies were late in flowering this year probably because it has been so dry and we have had water restrictions, they look so pretty when they are all out in flower and bud at the same time, their pretty flower heads bright in the sunshine and their perfume is amazing when you catch it on the breeze.
I'm pleased that my little post of flowers could warm and bless you on your chilly day in anticipation of your own lilies when they flower in May...flowers always lift my spirits, there is so much beauty whether they are in bud or have fully blossomed. xo ♡
