Between The Moments

There is beauty
in the spaces
between the moments in time
There is love yet unspoken
in the spaces of time
How wanted are your words
between the lines
How needed you are in all
the moments of time
There is love yet unspoken
between the lines
You will always be wanted
in my moments of time ...

Thank you dear Shweta

You take care too my sweet young friend. ♡

Oh Anna dear thanks but you are far too generous with your praise, I almost didn't publish the poem, I have been changing it and changing words and it still hasn't said what I had hoped, so I had to compromise. It is a simple poem but there is so much emotion behind these words. xo <3 ♡

Wow. EXCELLENT work! (I'm going to force people to read it to me whenever I need affirmation.)

dianne said...

Do you know Puggles my sweet, it doesn't have the 'wow' factor for me, I wanted to say so much more but just couldn't find the right sentiment to express what I was feeling...some of it has come through with my words but not all.
Thank you for your lovely compliment, if you have found some affirmation in it then it is not a complete failure as a poem, others seem to like it as well, maybe I am being too critical of my own work.
It came about from some feelings I had about love and how people don't express what they feel, they leave too much left unsaid though some of their words would indicate that there was love or affection there...not spoken, just an intimation between the lines they had written. xo ♡

Good evening Dianne,

Enjoyed Frank Benson (a wonderful American Impressionist) as well as your thoughts filled with human truths.

I'll post a drawing done decades ago that has a bit of the feeling.

Cheers,
Painter

Thank you dear painter

This is one of my favourite Impressionist paintings, I did use it once before on an earlier post.

I'm pleased that you enjoyed my words and the feelings they were meant to evoke.
Looking forward to your drawing. ♡

Diane,
Your understanding is so full of attention.....knowing the importance of the ' spaces ' and all that is ' between the lines.'....
all of a sudden you enlighten me.
i m begining to see the depth of your blog header.

Your poem is just as beautiful as you are.....generous, and caring!
much love to you!
may you blossom and glow all through out the year!

NB. THANKYOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL PRESENCE.

Dear Craftsman of Light

Thank you so much for your very thoughtful comment and for perceiving the depth in which I see and feel the world and the spaces around me.
This blog is a journey for me and I am very honest in the emotions I express here, I do share my thoughts, the places in my heart and the many faces of myself, whether that be a face of sadness, happiness or something in between.
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed my poem and you think that it is beautiful, you can see the beauty there, I had so many feelings to express here and the words did not come to me as I would wish.
I could only hope to aspire to the level of beauty and emotion of your poems and prose, maybe one day, I feel it but sometimes search for the words.
Thank you COL, I do hope I blossom and grow throughout the year, I am trying and thanks for your very last comment, that is very sweet of you and encouraging.

Much love to you too
Dianne. xo ♡

Un poema muy bonito. ¿habrá momentos en el tiempo de amores no descubiertos? Seguro que aún hay momentos que nos guardan sorpresas.

dianne said...

Gracias, espero que habrá momentos de amor aún me espera un día.
