Happy Independence Day

To all of my friends in the United States of America as you celebrate this auspicious day.

July 4th, 2009 - Happy 233rd Birthday!! ♥

Freedom has its life in the hearts,
the actions, the spirit of men and so
it must be daily earned and refreshed-
else like a flower cut from its life-giving
roots, it will wither and die.

~ Dwight D. Eisenhower

this is really considerate and sweet of you to think of them!

re your comment on my health-blog; I was quite shaken about your words, and mainly about your experience! I am really sorry you had to go through this! Diane, I do have some info which could be very beneficial for you. Send me an e-mail (it's on my blog/profile) and I will mail you back, because what I have to say is too personal for a public blog. But it's definitely good news, I can tell you that much!

thanks for being so open and honest. my heart goes out to you!
love, sarah sofia

This post inspired me to think about "context".

For instance, the Statue of Liberty in its present location inspires patriotism and hope for many people.

However, take that SAME statue and park it outside of a burning Frankenstein castle; where it then becomes sinister and ominously foreboding.

Well Puggles my sweet it was my intention to convey the context of freedom and liberty for those seeking refuge from oppression and a new start in your great country. ♡
