Thanks dearest M , you could smell the lavender and rosemary oil in the sunshine this afternoon and the mock orange has a sweet scent like orange blossoms. As you can see my garden isn't formal it is natural and untamed, just the way I like it. ♥ xo

I love finding new plants and poking them in the little spaces and of course the birds bring many new plants when they visit.
I still have so much to do as I am trying to get rid of some of the lawn and plant more native trees and shrubs, I just want it to look natural like the surrounding bushland. :) ♥ xoxox

are from my front yard,
half of which is lawn and
the other half natural coulee -- my house is on the north side of a coulee (a gully here on the western prairie) -- by way of cultivation, my garden has a few 'deer-resistant' flowering plants in clay pots, some deciduous cottonwoods plus evergreens, and lots of lilacs -- the rest is coulee including various grasses and cactii, wild roses...
the coulee is a city park backing onto a provincial 'natural area' backing onto a federal wilderness preserve -- my 'garden' contains deer, skunk, rabbits, beaver, fox, coyotes, hawks, owls, hummingbirds, rattlesnakes, scorpions, and thankfully few mall zombies

That sounds wonderful /t. , was that the beautiful natural looking garden that you posted on your blog, the photo that Ruth took. It was really beautiful, so much larger that my 1/4 acre block. Gosh you have lots of wildlife there; mine has snakes, scorpions, owls, many birds, geckos and lizards, Thankfully no 'mall zombies' just the occasional drunken bunch of youths who decide it would be good fun to rip your letter box out and dump it in the local sports oval or litter your front garden with beer empty bottles. Good old suburbia! ♥ xoxox :)
Yes Boney my love it sure is Spring here but I still have many plants which have to flower yet;some will flower soon then right through the summer.
Then my garden will really come alive with colour. :) ♥ xoxoxo

It must look very pretty at this time of year with all of the Autumn/Fall coloured foliage.
I forgot to mention that we have possums, bats, frogs and the occasional fox and when I think about it the list goes on, but I wont. ;)

Hi Lee dear, yes it is an oasis for the soul, I find the different shades of green very soothing and the flowers are a welcomed contrast of colour. :)
I was out early this morning watering a few plants the more established plants have to survive on a drink from the rain.
We are on water restrictions here, I guess you would be too.
Your garden must be beautiful as I saw some of the photos of your plants and flowers over at your
blog, so pretty just like a Monet painting.
I used to have three mollis azaleas, they grew beautifully for years then we had a very hot dry summer and bush fires,the heat generated from the fire was intense and killed the azaleas as well as quite a lot of other soft leafed plants, they were literally scorched, so sad and disappointing.

Yes M my dearest, I do remember 'Suburbia' my favorite though 'West End Girls', gosh these are trips down memory lane they bring back memories which were significant in our lives at the time.

Hi Jeannie dear, thanks they are very pretty, I also have an orange coloured one and I had an apricot coloured one but sadly it died. They grow vigorously but dont seem to be sold in ordinary plant nurseries, you have to go to an orchid nursery to find them or get a cutting from someone.

Yes I like 'Forever Young', a lovely song, dont want to be young forever but would like to turn back the clock to when I was twenty and start again, but know what I have learned now...I would surely do things differently. :)
We dont see our pay in cash any more, it just goes into our accounts and we pay our bills via internet, pay with a debit card at shops but I always keep some cash in my purse, its nice to know that the money still exists. :) ♥ xoxo

Oh Puggles my sweet, that would be a bit too drastic I think. Just give them a 'kick up the keester' and send them on their way and I will stick to 'slow release pellets' and normal 'compost', but thanks for thinking of your little 'thorn bird', I appreciate your advice. :) ♥ xoxoxo
