The Emptiness of Your Silence...

In the quiet of early morning
Before the day has begun
I think of you
And wonder how you are
It has been quite some time
Since I have read your words here
You may not think of me now
But to me, your words
Hold the warmth of morning sunshine
I miss you, I miss your friendship
And hope you will find it in your heart
To return one day
For I find myself lost
In the emptiness of your silence
A feeling of coldness pervades
Where your warmth once was
I search for some comfort
In the memory of your words
For that, it seems
Is all I have of you now…
Wherever you may be
Whether you are alone
Or if you have found love
I hope you are happy
And your life is complete...

I am making a new world. A world of important things. For this world is full of irrelevant, unkind, meaningless things. I no longer wish to exist in it. So... I have filmed my hand on a tree. Everything made starts with a hand. There is a dark golden glow of sky in the distance. The cows are peaceful in the field. There is green ivy climbing the side of the tree. It is silent but for the occasional movement of a leaf on a branch in the occasional breeze. Alice watches. Waiting. It is gently warm. Something very important will happen. To make this life complete. I wonder. Not that I don't know. I know very well. But I wonder. A deep breathe. My fingers have the same touch. Every tiny line in the bark makes a note of harmony. Like in a choir. A single distinct voice emerges from that choir. There is not a single hue of blue anywhere to be seen. Just that familiar golden glow. That radiant, glorious glow of life of the eyes. Shining. That ethereal voice of beauty. Strengthening. A smile. Just a little more time. I have left my past. I am moving towards a new world. Yes. You will see it. God will keep you alive to see it.

Thank you dear one, C.B. for taking the time to visit and leave this message for me. Your ‘new world’ sounds both exciting and intriguing, I did not realise that you were so unhappy in the world you are leaving behind. I cannot imagine a day without the soft blue hues of the sky, ever changing as the day progresses, but it is your sky, so it can be golden.
I used to touch the bark of our tree, feel its smooth contours and shallow furrows with my soft fingers, listen for your breath as the leaves sang their gentle song in the breeze, my heart would skip a beat but it is a long time since I have felt your presence there or that you are still with me. Perhaps I was only dreaming.
I did not realise that everything made begins with a hand but yes of course all practical things are. When two people meet they usually greet each other with a touch of their hands, the beginning of a friendship or much more but I also believe that nature and love have their purpose in creation.
Such a lovely feeling of peacefulness, warmth and golden colours you paint with your words, I can almost feel that soft, occasional breeze which moves the leaf on the ivy.
Alice, your new love? Hers must be the distinct and beautiful voice which emerges from that choir of voices and resonates in your heart. The golden glow of which you speak, that radiant glorious glow must be the glow of love. She waits, don’t make her wait for too long. Something important will happen, something beautiful and wondrous, two people in love, what could be more beautiful. I can sense the happiness in your words.
God may keep me alive dear one but I doubt I will see this new world of yours, I would dearly love to but I feel I won’t be included, I am a small part of your old world, the one you are leaving behind. Sadly I am someone you will soon forget.
I sense this may be the last time I hear from you, that saddens me and as heart-breaking as that is for me, I want you to be happy. Perhaps, one day if my weblog is still here you will pass by again, if you do, please say ‘hello’ and let me know how you are. As always dear one, with love and affection I say take care and enjoy your newly found happiness.
Your loving and loyal friend, Dianne.

Dearest C.B. , just thinking, could the Alice you were referring to possibly be ALICE, the acronym for "A Large Ion Collider Experiment" in the territory of Sergy, France, hosted by CERN, the European Laboratory for Nuclear Research?
You are so intelligent, it would not surprise me at all if you were a physicist or a scientist. That would be life changing.
Though, my first conclusion was far more romantic and personal.

Thank you dear Lucja for your lovely words, I am pleased that you enjoyed my
prose.
I love visiting your blog, your words and photos are always so beautiful and you take us to the most interesting places.
I watched Michael Portillo's Great Continental Railway Journeys this week, he visited Poland starting off in Warsaw and then traveling to Lodz, Poznan, Wroclaw and finishing in the ancient capital of Poland, Krakow. I especially enjoyed the Main Square (Rynek Glowny) in Krakow as it is so beautiful.

Here is a link to the square as viewed through a Webcam, it was sent to me by my dear friend C.B, for whom this prose was written.

Thank you dear Yannis for your sweet words, you are very kind to me.
Perhaps I am capable of creating love through my poems, my smile and my dreams but sadly I cannot find someone who will love me.

Warm greetings dear friend.
