To Touch Forever ...

Amongst the branches
I find my peace
Something tangible
To give me strength
To touch the surface
Of its bark
Beneath its skin
The rings of history
A record of times
It has seen and felt
The seasons of its memory
I lose myself amongst
A song of leaves
Of greens and tints
Of yellow
Sighing in a subtle breeze
Taking in their beauty
For here I find clarity
In often times
I have lost
A space of calm
To start anew
And put my thoughts
To memory
Through its canopy
I can touch the sky
Feel the soft of the blue
And reaching out from
The branches high
Almost touch
Forever …

Nature is beautiful.
I love these big trees, dianne.
I am surrounded by them.
Our summer is coming to an end
And soon our trees will look like this,
I wish you a wonderful early spring weekend
With peace and joy.

I enjoy laying under a tree and look up into the canopy, feels like you are close. Also you can listen to the wind and the movement it brings to it.

Thank you dear M , yes, it is lovely to lay under a tree and look up into the canopy, you get glimpses of the sky, little rays on sunshine sparkling between the leaves, the soothing sound of the breeze ... a lovely experience.
