When I think of you
My world is in harmony
How lovely it would be
Moments spent with you
To feel the places
Where you have been
Where echoes of your presence
Resound there still ...

Prose - Dianne Dawes
For my dear friend C.B.

Seven, six, five...

Those colours are gorgeous. Absolutely the same as the filters on my camera! Absolutely gorgeous! I tend to toward gold rather than yellow-green. That's why my style will be my own.

That's important, I think. Like a kind of signature. Thank you. And the places... well, that is what my film is all about. Still working on it. But you'll know in time. You will.

Do zobaczenia, C.B.

Hello dear C.B.! It has been a while since I have heard from you, I wondered if you had given up on our friendship. I hoped you weren't unwell and were engrossed in making your film. Then I thought you may have met a lovely woman, one who could make you happy, that would have been good for you. Your location is showing up as China, are you there? I have been busy with a few small projects of my own and I now have an Instagram account where I share photos with some lovely people. It helps to fill in the hours and is not as demanding as my blog as there are no expectations of posting a poem...not that many people visit anymore.
I'm so pleased that you liked the image. I chose it to accompany my poem because of the warmth of the golden light and a feeling of intimacy. The golden filters on your camera will give the effect of warmth, your signature. If the film features your impressions of the places you have been that will be wonderful. Echoes of you resounding in the places you have been as in my poem.
I hope I will know when it is completed, I hope you will let me know? Take care dear one, I hope to hear from you again. Much love, Dianne xxxx
