Another Distant Sky ...

I wait here alone in the moonlight
Wishing you were close by
All I have for company
Are the shadows in the evening sky
I look up to the Heavens
Wishing you were here
But you are far away
Beneath another distant sky...

Dearest Yannis and Vania , thank you for your kind words and for thinking of us. Matthew is still very ill he has now developed some serious problems with his heart. He had some tests done at the Catheter Lab at a leading hospital here, he is far too ill for open heart surgery so he will need this managed by medication until he can cope with another anaesthetic and surgery. Not good news I'm afraid.
Much love to you both, Dianne and Matthew.

Marty sweet friend thank you for your kind and thoughtful wishes from beautiful far off France. Yes, so many dreams, just dreams, it was the early hours of the morning and I was feeling very much alone and these words came to me. Wishful thinking. Matthew is not well, more complications, now with his heart I'm afraid.
Much love and bisous, Dianne

Marty dear, you are so kind, thank you for your thoughtful words ... Matthew and I just have to manage, taking one day at a time and hoping that the doctors' can come up with satisfactory solutions to his numerous health problems ... sadly some cannot be resolved and he will have to adjust to them.
Much love and bisous, Dianne

completely out of touch with the real world I am.
But stumbling around in old footage at first farm, did I see that you, too had caught the cancer?
I don't think they can just cut mine out with a knife. Oh well...
Maybe the chemo and radiation will bring the danged thing down.
I have no idea.
And, to be sure, I don't try to know, either.
I do what the doctors and (most importantly) nurses tell me to do, and there you have it.

Then again, the outcome of this comment is interesting.
Bet you didn't expect to see it at all, but then, I have been trying to battle the dark spaces n my mind with comedy bits.

Good luck in your battle, gal.

Hi Berry , no I didn't expect to see a comment from you here again but thanks for stopping by and for your kind wishes. I know the lesion on my face is malignant but the surgeon cut away a fair amount of tissue, hopefully he was able to remove it all and there are clean margins. I won't have the pathology results for another week and depending on the result decide where to go from there. It doesn't look too bad considering the size of the incision, I think it will leave a slight scar but that's ok. Sorry to hear that you have cancer Berry and are having chemotherapy and radiotherapy, I think your illness is a lot more serious and invasive than my little lesion, I just hope mine hasn't spread.
Good luck with your treatment, I hope all turns out well for you.
Best wishes, Dianne
