I was right there in London on Friday night. Is that uncanny or what? I then took an underground tube train to Covent Garden as I hadn't been there for years. 'Exit Only' as you leave Covent Garden station onto to the cobbled street outside. Just as I left the station a young girl, aged around 25, walked across to me and spoke to me about a wine bar discount card that she was holding out in her hand. I shook my head politely and then she asked where I was from. "I'm just a tourist." No... She wanted to know, 'for real'. "OK, watch the film 'The Double Life...' " I replied evasively. "What is it about?" she asked. "It's about intuition," I replied, "amongst other things, although literature is far better at describing what it is about." "Oh," she said, "Coincidence! I've just graduated in Literature." "The thing is," I said as I was about to take my leave, "the words in literature actually inhibit the reaching of the true feelings of the heart. But, a hand placed gently here on the side of your face by your hair," I demonstrate, "leads to a feeling more readily able to be described by literature." I continued, "The difficulty the Polish director of the film I mentioned faced was how do you film that 'feeling' when the hand is placed against another's cheek? How do you get the audience to 'feel it', if not through the imagination of their heart and mind?" She said, "Perhaps life is nothing to do with film or literature." I smiled to her, "Do you need to know any more about me than that?" "Don't go." she called to me. But I had already gone. We won't meet up again, I know that for sure, because that's why it's called a chance encounter. But we might stand, back to back, in a tube train, one day. We might pass each other on the stairs of a station. But at no time will we recognize each other ever again. Unless, of course, I will it. Have a very good evening, Dianne.

Hello dear C.B. yes it is either uncanny or a coincidence that you were near St. Pauls on Friday night. Did you see a lovely ballet, opera or art exhibition at Covent Garden?
I have been thinking about the St. Paul's video for quite a while now and found it on Friday. It is a charming short film. Sometimes we set our hearts on one particular person and as much as we hope that affection will be returned it is sad when it is not. Then sometimes by chance someone else comes along, we take a chance and if we are fortunate the affection is mutual. Sadly it doesn't happen very often, perhaps only in films.
I think the character of Harry is rather sweet, he likes to observe people in the world around him. He is a good actor, so is Sandie, they portray their emotions well. I liked the expressions on his face when he watches Sandie, they go from interest, to amusement when she is hiding behind the marble pillar observing her friend and a look of disappointment for her when she sees that her love interest is meeting someone else and her heart sinks. I was so pleased to see that he had written the note and given it to her. An opportunity for a happy ending for them both.
You might meet up with the young girl again, it seems you made quite a good impression on her especially when you gently touched the side of her face with your hand. Yes, we do need intuition, emotions and experiences have to be felt by the heart and imagination. I did not realise you could ‘will’ someone to meet you but I guess if the interest in that person is strong enough you will find her again. ;-)
I hope you are feeling better now and over your sinus infection? I left some advice for you after your last comment regarding some remedies that might have helped you but I don’t think you ever return to read my replies to your comments.
Take care dear one and as you often sign off with “one of these days”, I hope you will return again.
