A Dream Too Far Away ...

Another day passes
As I wait for you here
Hoping for your words
Wishing you were near
I feel your presence
But I cannot be sure
Perhaps I am dreaming
Hoping for more
Time stands still
As I wait for you here
Lost amongst the shadows
Of moments we once shared
Looking for your light
To find my way once more
And at the edge of memories
Where hope fades away
My words are not enough
To keep you close by
Further from me now
Than you were before
You feel so distant
Like you’re drawing away
And the beauty of your words
That I hold so dearly
Always seem to be
A dream too far away…

Very nice love poem, love it, but if you want does not come to meet us, to lose hope before we go looking! But the worst is not knowing where to look! Kisses!

Piękny wiersz, ale trochę smutny. Róża jego treść upiększa. Pozdrawiam.
Beautiful poem, but a little sad. Rose beautifies its content. Yours.

Thank you dear Leovi for your thoughtful words.
It is sad to lose hope but sadder still when you reach out to a friend and they have nothing at all to say.

Giga dear friend, thank you for your kind words, yes the poem is a little sad. The image of the roses with the sun setting behind them is beautiful...it is symbolic.
