Forgotten Flowers

I don’t want to fade into the shadows
Of some forgotten memory
I need to live in the light
Where hope still survives
For just as the flowers of the fields
Need the sun and rain to flourish
So too does my heart need to be tended
So that I may blossom in the sunshine
To be nurtured, to grow
To feel loved and wanted
Not left to fade away
Or to be ignored
And left without hope
Like so many forgotten flowers…

Bella esta fotografía con el sol en su atardecer, bella !!
Y tu poema es un regalo para los sentidos, porque todos los corazones necesitan ser amados, necesitan ser regados con cariño y dulzura, con palabras tiernas para que las raíces puedan crecer...

Thanks dearest Elia for your kind words, I'm very happy that you enjoyed my prose and the photograph of the sun setting behind the rose. Yes, all hearts need to feel loved, to be treated with gentleness and tenderness. Perhaps one day I shall find that person who might care enough.
Big hugs and kisses my dear friend. ^^

"REIDI GUL" (poppy flower) Ghani Khan

In A Desert, Once, On A Hunt Did I Find,
A Flower So Fair, With A Radiant Smile.
Sadly, I Approached And Sighed,
“Ah! Of My Kind Are You Too,
A Hapless Flower From A Beloved's Hair."
'Frail Fingers Wouldn't Take You To A Soft Face So Close,
Nor Would You Be Kissed By Lips
So Delicate Like A Rose,"
With A Silent Smile The Flower Replied;
"Don't Lose Heart."
"This Desert I Wouldn't Give Up For The Gardens Of Iran,"
A Solitary I Am Here While Legions Like Me Are There,
Amidst This Cursed Soil I Stand Apart.
In This Gray Desert, I'M A Flame Of Divine Light,
I'M Beauty’s Silent Song, A Miracle From The Sky."
"In Your Garden, There Are Thousands Of Flowers..."
"...Just Like Me."
"A Nameless Droplet In A Nameless Sea."
"Don’t Feel Lonely In Your Desert,"
"To Behold You At Last Shall Come A Sore Ghani Khan."
"To Behold You At Last Shall Come.."

Mi amiga poeta, tiene que liberar sus sentimientos,y dejar de vivir en su pasado.
Nuestras vidas son tan cortas y efímeras que solo tenemos que disfrurar el presente
