Thank you dear Rahul , there are many things that you don't know about me :) ... Shah Rukh Khan is very handsome and a great actor. I loved this film, the songs were beautiful; Sonu Nigam, the vocalist has a beautiful voice so too Lata Mangeshkar.I enjoy many kinds of films.

I like hindu cinema a lot - the colors alone are worth the love. I thought about you saturday night as I watch Pride and Predjudice - the 2005 version with Kiera Knightly and Matthew McFayden. I think him the best Mr. Darcy of all time . I wish I could have a Jane Austen film fest some day.

Thank you dearest chickory , Hindi films are so special, they always have such sensitive story lines.
The scenery is spectacular, the costumes and jewellery are sumptuous, it is like a visit to another world of colours, then you have the lovely characters and the music.
Yes, I loved both versions of Pride and Prejudice, I think Matthew Macfadyen was very sweet and Colin Firth seemed more mature, I cannot choose between the two as they both brought something special to the character.
Yes a Jane Austen film fest would be great.
I miss my dear friend Alexandre, he is an Austen fan and we would speak to each other in Austen-speak at our blogs. He was Colonel Brandon and I was Miss Dianne, a sweet maiden?, my home being Somersby Manor. That was years ago, but missed very much. :)

Thank you dear Olga , yes, I love them too, so exotic, gorgeous costumes and jewellery, wonderful music and dancing and almost always a sensitivity to the story, unlike a lot of western films. This film was very beautiful, the tears were flowing because of its lovely characters. There is another song which you can listen to by choosing it at the end of the video it is called 'Tere liye',(For Your Sake), it is a duet and so beautiful.

Veer Zaara is one of the more commendable works of SRK. Personally speaking I wont say he is one of my fav actors..but yes...I have liked him in a few films...and if you follow bollywood...he has done some stupid films in the last few years....haha....and if you can tell me some of more bollywood films which you liked..I could send you a few more names...which you might enjoy!! :-)

Dear Kunal , thank you for your lovely comment, don't be surprised, there are many films which I enjoy. Sadly I have not seen any Hindi films at the cinema, only on our SBS television channel here which features foreign films of many genres.
I could not name any Hindi film in particular that I have enjoyed, a couple starring SRK and other actors with various beautiful female actresses. I have seen Veer Zaara before and it touched me because of the wonderful character of Vere, how many men would one find like him...also, the other main characters, such as Saamiiya, the lawyer and even Miriam, Zaara's mother. Such a beautiful story and of course the music and beauty of the love songs made me cry. I like Hindi romance, romance drama and romance/comedy. Unfortunately the films I watch require English subtitles though some are so beautifully and sensitively portrayed, words are not needed.
