Today in my Garden

Cardamon Ginger leaves, Maidenhair Species and Clivea Leaves.

Protea, Bottlebrush with tiny white brush flowers, Dietes Bicolour

Gardenia Florida, May Bush and Autumn Crocus (Zephyranthes Candida)

A mix of green leaves
Grevillea species, Westringia Fruiticosa, Apple Gum and Banksia Ericifolia

The top photo was the shot of the day, it may be a little out of focus as it was an 'action' shot. These plants grow at the side of my carport. I was leaning over on the wooden railing to get a good photo and because of its age the railing decided to give way. Over and down I went, still holding onto to my cell-phone camera, the camera is OK but I am not. Winded, grazed and bruised, no broken bones thankfully. Ouch!!! Good that I had my phone, I had to call for help. :-)

Amiga Dianne.

Thank you dear Mirthe, for your thoughtful words, yes there are many shades of green in my garden.
I will be alright in a few days. :)
Many thanks, Dianne.

Such beautiful photos, Dianne! As always, you teach me something new about plants, here :-)

I'm so sorry to know that you fell but I chuckled with your sense of humour about the cell phone! That's the spirit!

Please take good care of yourself. I'm glad there weren't any broken bones.

Much Love + Extra hugs :-) ♥

Thank you dear Fiona , I am happy that you liked my plant photos, I could not think of the name of the 'bottlebrush',I want to plant some more of those as they are so pretty.

It was fairly sad really, I had 'winded' myself, I fell face down and hurt myself so much I made three attempts at getting myself upright, only to fall over again. I was shaking and in tears from the shock, I never dreamed that the wood was so loose. I sat there feeling completely helpless, wondering how on earth I could get up.
My son has MS, I am his career, he would not have been capable of helping me so I called a friend, he was very kind and helpful.
I never lose my sense of humour, when I told him what had happened we both hoped that the photo was worth it. Thanks for the hugs, but gently please.
Much love to you too. :-)

Dobrze,że tylko siniaki masz , a nie coś poważniejszego. "Zielone" zdjęcia są ładne, ale nie za taką cenę :-). Pozdrawiam. *** Well, that just bruises you have, and not something more serious. "Green" pictures are nice, but not for this price :-). Yours.

Hello Phossy dear, thank you for stopping by.
At this time of year my grass would normally be half dead and my garden would not be so verdant. We have had so much rain recently and all is green.
I hope you get some good rain soon. :)

Hello Foamy my little sweet pea. "Oh my word", is right, I said "oh, no" as I went hurtling to the ground wondering momentarily what my fate would be.
Well I soon found out, ouch! Hurt, completely bewildered, helpless, crying from the pain, thinking about people I love, was this the end, I was in shock.
Apart from my wounds I have completely trashed a section of the garden where I landed, no, the photo was not worth it. :)
The garden is green and lush at present because we have had so much rain, so much better than the threat of bushfires.
Thank you for your kind words.
