To Spring ...

The brooks are flowing
With sparkling water
Fresh from Winter's melt
Along the grassy borders
And rippling over stones
The freshness can be felt
Sunshine warms the meadows
To release their sweetest scent
The trees and hedgerows
Are blossoming anew
With verdant buds and leaves
Leaving behind the dullness
Of their long Winter rest
Spring adorns the fields
With a myriad of flowers
Everywhere they bloom
Fields,hedgerows and bowers
Such beauty to be seen
And gone is Winter's gloom ...

Now, what is the answer?

Thank you dear Joop for your kind comment.
Yes, Springtime is a lovely season with all of the beautiful flowers. I can only imagine how beautiful the masses of tulips would be in Holland.
Greetings.

Dear Fiona thank you for your praise of my poem, you are very generous.
Sadly the milder weather of Springtime here will soon be over and the heat of Summer will soon be upon us.
I am pleased that you enjoyed both the poem and the image.
I hope you have a lovely weekend too my dear friend.

Ohh, I know the feeling all too well ~ I cringe each time our summer draws near! I tell people that I start looking forward to Fall when Spring starts ha ha!

Too hot here in the desert but the winters are grand :) I thought you were perhaps living in a climate that was making you dread winter already but it's the other way around! :D

Stay cool, my dear friend, and start dreaming of Fall ;) x0x

DearFiona, no I don't look forward to our Summers, they are far too hot and humid. It is Spring and today was 38ºC which is a fair indication that the Summer will be hot. I am just enjoying a southerly breeze which has just come up from the southern ocean, so that has cooled the temperature slightly. I love Autumn and Spring and where I live in Sydney, New South Wales I am close to the east coast so the Winter months are mild compared to other countries and further west in this State where it does snow.
Yes I am dreaming of Autumn already. :D
You take care too dear friend.

Thank you dearest K9 ,for your sweet comment, yes it seems to be 'golden' here at present and yes there is always plenty of warmth for those I care for.
I am thinking it would be wonderful at chickory now with all of that Autumn foliage and the crisp, cool air. I can almost hear the creek flowing and the leaves and twigs snapping underfoot as I walk around enjoying the beauty. :)
Thank you sweet girl!

Thank you dear Paul ,for your very sweet comment. I wish I was there right now too, it is far too hot here. I could do with some cool Spring weather by the brook in my poem. Olga dear friend, thank you, that is such a sweet thing to say.
I was very happy with the elements of this poem, the feelings, the imagery etc., but each time I read it I am not so sure that it flows how I would have wanted, but I do not have time to re-work it. I am sure your recital of my words will be much better, especially in such a pretty field. :)

I leave a response whenever I especially enjoy a post on a site or if I have something to
contribute to the discussion. It's a result of the sincerness displayed in the post I read. And on this article "To Spring ...". I was moved enough to leave a thought ;) I actually do have some questions for you if it's okay.
Is it just me or does it look like some of these responses look like
left by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are posting on additional places, I'd like to follow you. Would you list the complete urls of your social pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
