Each Time We Must Part

Tears fill my eyes
Each time we must part

I have not had enough of you

Enough to fill my heart
I need so much more of you

We're only at the start
I look in your direction

As you leave and walk away

Please turn around and see me

I want you to stay

Our kiss is not enough
T
o take this sadness from my heart
I cannot bear it

Your absence breaks my heart

Please turn around and see me

And walk back this way
Please come back to me

Take this emptiness from my heart

A few more precious moments
To last whilst you're away

And ask you this question

Please,why can't you stay?

Hello Dianne,
What a wonderful picture, it is worth a text, such expression!
I have a problem on the photos of followers, she caught the picture of Floriana, a black shirt and sunglasses. The photos of the new followers appear and then vanish back to the Floriana (blog aqualung).
A big hug

I always love the subtley in your poems Dianne, even when they show an element of sadness.. I think its your underlying passion for nature, soft and gentle which continues to make your words dreamy and visual.

What a great picture to use with the poem. As soon as I read the poem I kept thinking, black and white scene, maybe a soldier getting on a train, girl on platform.. Your pic is perfect!!!

"I look in your direction
As you leave and walk away
Please turn around and see me
I want you to stay"

I kept thinking, turn around, come on turn around, you can do it.. but he kept on walking.. Some blokes just havent a clue sometimes :)

Great stuff Dianne. Take care x

Thank you dear Antonio for your lovely comment. I wrote the poem first and was very fortuante to find this image.
Yes, I have been experiencing problems with my followers list, the photo of the last person there keeps disappearing then returning. Now you will see that Floriana from Aqualung has joined my list of followers, I wonder if her photo will stay there. It could just be a problem with Google.
A big hug

Jasmin , dear friend, yes I have poured out my heart, but do not be sad, I am fine, many memories past and present were the reason for this poem.
Thank you for your beautiful words and lovely wish for a dream carrying me up to the stars, where one day, one small star ★ may give me the answer I am seeking.
Love and greetings, Dianne.

Thank you dear Paul for your beautiful comment and praise of this poem and the content of other poems and my writing style. You are a very kind and gentle person.
Yes, the picture is perfect, yes I searched for a black and white photo as this is what would convey the sadness of the poem, you are very perceptive.
I wanted him to turn around and see her and see how heart-breaking this separation was for her, she did not want to let him go, she wanted to feel his warmth and closeness again.
Thank you,you take care too.
