Pathways ...

Understand, I'll slip quietly
away from the noisy crowd
when I see the pale
stars rising, blooming, over the oaks.

I'll pursue solitary pathways
through the pale twilit meadows,
with only this one dream:
You come too.

Poem: Rainer Maria Rilke

A esperança e a alegria de viver esta
nos atos de amor que praticamos.
Quero viajar todos os dias semeando
a paz no coração dos amigos (as)ser
apreciada por minha presença.
Quero jogar flores por onde
eu passar.
E em silêncio deixar a palavra
mais bonita.
(Creia em Deus porque viver é fantástico.)
Um beijo na alma e no coração com carinho,,Evanir,
Feliz final Domingo.....

Thank you dearest K9 , yes a beautiful poem and that last line says so much, promises so much.

Your sunset sounds amazing, I can imagine the colours, the light, the beauty and I would have loved it...the call of an owl and fireflies glowing would be lovely.

Hope. An amazing force.

OK. Solitary pathways. With a companion. Tricky.

dianne said...

Thanks dear Lee for your comment; yes 'hope' is an amazing force ... it has a lot to live up to, belief, trust, expectancy, longing, but if all that fails, one can always dream.
xoxoxo ♡

dianne said...

Thank you for your comment dear J Cosmo ... solitary pathways are not so tricky, if he was a gentleman he would lift her up and carry her in his arms or he could take her by the hand and lead her along the meadow pathways in the softness of the twilight. :)

I do love that last line.
When you want to share precious solitary moments with another person, that is, indeed, special.

dianne said...

Thank you dearest Foamy , yes that last line is very special, that is what drew me to this poem. It is an invitation to be included, wanted, loved perhaps and share in something that is intimate and precious.

Hi Dianne,
There's such a hush in this poem, that i too slip quietly away into such a world.

Thankyou lovely Dianne for your sweet words, its true i'm blogging less and wandering more, the woods are beautiful, july has been less hot, and been raining.

Always nice to know that i 've a warm place in your thoughts.

lots of love and creativity to you!
hugs.
col

dianne said...

Thank you for your comment dear /t., I don't know of Rilke's popularity with gentleman but I do know that his beautiful and romantic poems are popular with ladies.
He had relationships with a few women in his lifetime and married Clara Westhoff in 1900, their daughter Ruth was born in 1901.
His relationship with Clara continued for the rest of his life.

dianne said...

Thank you dearest col , this poem has few words and is unusual for Rilke but they say so much and take you on a beautiful visual journey through pale twilight meadow pathways and the most lovely last line.

It is true that I have missed you while you have been wandering, I'm sure the woods are beautiful at this time of year and yes you will always have a warm place in my thoughts and heart.

There is not much creativity from me at present, I seem to be in a strange place where I find no inspiration for my poems, a creative void.

Love and hugs to you too!
Dianne.

Hello, Puggles my sweet, I have been thinking about what you have asked and I think it would be nicer if just you and walked along this meadow path. I could carry you in a basket to keep you safe; if all of your little friends came along they might get lost in that long meadow grass.

I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your website?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or
2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
