Another Sunrise, A New Day . . .

I will not let the sun set

On one more day of sadness

Life is too short and fleeting

To let this hurt bring me undone.

I shall find my happiness

Amongst those who truly love me

Amongst you who truly care

And in the flowers, trees and sky.

There will be another sunrise

And the blessings of a new day

Calm will once more find my heart

And take my tears away.

Yes dearest col , it is a most beautiful patch of pink flowers, one could not help but be brightened by their beauty.
Yes my words, I have to protect myself and not let this unhappiness take hold otherwise there will be no happiness or flowerings ♥ in my tomorrows.
Thank you my friend and also for the warm hug, I really needed that.

Thank you dearest Foamy
I am fortunate to have friends like you and others here who really care.
I still do not understand why, so I am trying so much to forget... it is foolish to hope for anything when I am ignored and not wanted any more.
Love, Dianne.

Thank you dear Leovi ,
yes I have made a promise to myself not to get mired down in this sadness, for he does not care.
You have the extravaganza of Spring and all of its beautiful flowers and I have the cooler days of Autumn and her palette of colours to enjoy.

That is so true Phossy dear, but it does take some time and some healing to forget but I am trying to move on.

I'm so sorry Ellie my sweet girl, it is far more difficult for you as you loved your partner and were loved in return, you were soulmates and he was cruelly taken away from you.

We were not having a relationship, we had a long standing friendship and I don't believe he ever felt anything but friendly affection for me, though I felt much more for him.
It was comforting to know that he was there for me but now he has taken that away from me and I am hurting.

Such a waste, I have apologised and tried to mend the rift between us, nothing so terrible, something that I said, nothing that I would not be able to forgive ... but it seems there are no second chances with him and no forgiveness.

So in order to stop this hurt I must not think of him and stay away from him, a sad decision to make but I have no choice, he just does not care that I am hurting and will not communicate with me at all.

Love Dianne. xoxoxo ♡

I love this Dianne! It's a beautiful poem and I so agree with the sentiments within. Hurt should be left in the past where it belongs - the only moment that matters is now and it should be filled with happy thoughts. I love the picture too! You've brightened up my day already. :D

Hi again Dianne. I posted my comment before reading the others. I've just read the one you posted previous to mine. From experience, I find that putting some distance between yourself and the person helps and in time they really do become a part of your past. Does this person live near you? If so, it might be a good thing to re-locate so you are not constantly faced with them and all associations. This isn't always possible though, so get out and meet lots of new people. By cutting off all communication, this person has made himself clear.... don't let that keep you at a standstill. Get out there and find happiness for yourself. It might not involve a special person for a while, but just doing things to make you happy would be good. Sometimes it's frightening to let go of the past, especially when it involves someone you love/d but, in this case, you need to move on for your own sake.

Thank you Lesley dear, yes the flowers are so beautiful, I was so happy when I found the image, I am pleased that they have brightened your day.
This man has been a blog friend of mine for many years, we have communicated through comments and via e-mail and exchanged so many thoughts and ideas and shared so much over this time ... he was a very big part of my life.
No, I do not see him he lives in the U.K. so breaking away physically will not be a problem, I will endeavour to stay away from his blog and put some distance between us.
I know I have hurt him too but I have forgiven him for some things that he said to me. I feel so much remorse for saying what I did and I have apologised profusely but since he chooses to ignore me it is obvious that I am no longer wanted, so it is better that I stay away.
I gave up looking for a life partner quite some time ago, I don't have much of a social life just some close friends whom I see.
My time is taken up with caring for my son who has Multiple Sclerosis, so you see I am not free to pursue a life that I would like and it would not be fair to ask someone to share this responsibility with me.
Thank you for your thoughful comment and advice, it is appreciated.

liebe Dianne, weißt du das Blumen sprechen können?
weisst du, dass die Blumen reden?
ja, sie reden.
Sie sprechen miteinander,
und sie sprechen zu dir,
wenn du zuhörst.
