Kiss The Rain . . .

Kiss The Rain - Yiruma

I hope you all enjoy this beautiful piano piece by Yiruma and the images and sentiments which have been added by the composer of this video.
It is raining here tonight, I cannot find the words for an appropriate poem to reflect my feelings, I am alone once again and I have no-one to kiss but the rain, this video somehow seemed just right . . . ♥

I suggest that you might like to watch the video in full screen on YouTube to get the best effect, the next music video 'Love Me' is also beautiful.

dianne,

i see that
you have progressed
from learning how to dance in the rain
to kissing the rain
&
now fear that either you or the rain must eventually break away from this star-crossed relationship

beautiful music & vidi, d <3

Just make sure there aren't any hail stones before you pucker up...

dianne said...

Yes dear /t.
it seems I have to look to the rain in which to dance and to quench my thirst for kisses, though most enjoyable, something will have to change as I am getting awfully wet. :-)
Thank you, I am so pleased that you enjoyed the music and vidi.

Thank you dear Phossy I will make sure there are no hail stones before I pucker up, I want a gentle kiss not a bruise. :-)

Such a beautiful piece of music Dianne, and lovely images to go with it. The rain is falling heavily as I'm writing this, but it's lovely Autumnal rain - ideal to walk out in. :)

dianne said...

Thanks Lesley dear, it is a beautiful piece of music and I think the images used were perfect.
It has been raining here for most of the day but not gentle enough to walk in.
I do like walking in the rain when it is falling softly or walking along the shoreline of a sandy beach.

You never know when lightning will strike. However when I went to kiss the rain, it said it had to move on.

i just either frolic in the rain or run through it to get out of it ...
i never considered kissing it.
i do hope you get the rain so y our lovely garden flourishes this year.

Beautiful amalgamation of music and pictures. I remember "Kiss the Rain" (1997) by Billie Myers, a real fighter :-)

Have a lovely week, dear Dianne

dianne said...

Oh Pugsley my sweet, it felt like a bolt of lightning had struck me when once I fell in love, it didn't hurt then, the hurt came much later.
Any rain that would not kiss you back is not very discerning nor perceptive.
I will send you a big KISS ... XXXXX

Yes Foamy dear friend it is fun to frolic in the rain, go for walks, dance in the rain, jump in puddles, let it run over your face it tastes so sweet and lovely, that is most likely the closest I have come to 'kissing' the rain.
Thanks, my garden is loving all of the rain, everything is beginning to look so fresh and green.

Thank you dear Anna-Lys , yes the images are perfect for this music.
The producer of the video has used some of the lyrics from the song 'Kiss the Rain' by Billie Myers ... she sings the complete song so beautifully and with so much emotion.

ANNA-LYS said...

Sure does!
But there was no information given on YouTube that this was her originally.
Never seen anyone do that before, or maybe I missed the information given.
I am very stressed right now.
Btw I have created an answering link in my commentbox lol

(( luv ))

dianne said...

No dear Anna-Lys there was no information on YouTube about the lyrics being from Billie Myer's song, I guess because only some of the lyrics were used that they thought it would be OK.
I was going to print the whole song here as it is great but I do not have enough space so I have provided a link if anyone is interested to hear the song.
Kiss The Rain.
Try not to be stressed ... breathe ((Luv))

I have been walking in light rain this past weekend but under the cover of New Forest trees gently dropping their yellow and red leaves on me. A New Forest pony walked up to me breathing breathy wisps of warm misty air along the arms of my jacket. I liked it. And I liked this music video. Merci beaucoup.

dianne said...

Dearest Alexandre what a lovely way to spend a weekend, misty rain and falling Autumn leaves ...I have seen photographs of the New Forest and its trees and vegetation are breathtaking.
Such a special encounter with the pony, they are beautiful animals; I can almost see those warm wisps of misty air as the pony nuzzles the arm of your jacket.
Thank you for sharing this with me and I am so pleased that you enjoyed the music video.

very nice video. I am reminded of something dixie carter (an american actress) once said and it always stuck with me: "it takes a very good man to be better than no man at all". Indeed this is true. Kiss the rain and enjoy its life-giving water. youre not alone...and when youre ready to upgrade, might i recommend a dog?

dianne said...

Thank you dear Ruela , yes the rain is beautful, a life giving force, we cannot live without water and it also refreshes us in so many pleasant ways.

dianne said...

Thank you dear chickory , it is so nice to have you back with us.
Yes the music video is very nice.

That dixie carter is/was a wise woman,so are you, I guess I am still hoping that one of those 'very good men' might come along one day, otherwise I am quite used to being alone, I do keep myself busy I just get lonely every so often.

I do love the rain and its life giving water I was out in it yesterday, enjoying its sweet taste and gently falling on my face.

Maybe I should get some hens? :-)

The East side of town got a big wet sloppy kiss yesterday...

dianne said...

Hello Phossy dear, I am hoping that the rain was welcomed and didn't cause too much humidity.
It has been raining on and off here for about a week, yesterday was a mix of showers and humidity when the sun did shine through for a short time.
Today is just bleak and windy.

Thank you dear Anna-Lys , what a beautiful Mum she is and the puppies are so gorgeous, lots of little sweethearts around you, I can just imagine how soft they are and that lovely puppy smell and their cute little sounds.
Thanks, I have read your answer and have left another comment about a beautiful young woman I once saw admiring some deer! :-)

There can be a rest in solitude. A time to find yourself enough.

I hope the hurt eases.

dianne said...

Thank you dear /t. , so you approve? I think it looks beautiful and when others click on the link they will be amazed by the beauty of the colours and movement in the Dynamic Animation. :-) xoxoxo ♡

dianne said...

Thank you dear Kathleen , for your thoughtful comment, please don't worry about me, I am fine most of the time, it is just every now and then that I realise how alone I am in not having a partner to share my life.
There are many blessings in my life that do make up for the loneliness, I have my children, friends, it is just sometimes that I find that I would like more, that something is missing.

with spring coming i wonder: what new things will go into your garden? i am looking at seed catalogs now to figure out what i am going to do. im going to try this rare himalayan blue poppy. (!)

dianne said...

They sound very exotic dear chickory .
I was going to take some photos today but the rain has spoiled the petals on the miniature violas,I still have to find some seeds or seedlings for some yellow or lemon coloured nasturtiums and the cosmos.
I don't know if I will be doing my usual Satuday evening post tonight, I will have to see how I feel later.
Maybe some inspiration will come to me. xoxoxo ♡

ANNA-LYS said...

(In my garden there are only puppies, or that is the only thing I can see nowdays)

Wonder if I can be of any inspiration
for a Saturday evening post, as the years go by I have collected lots of both love and rain water, but only kissed one frog

Have a lovely weekend

dianne said...

Lol dear Anna-Lys , where on earth did you find that avatar, I want that sexy, beautiful girl staring back at me. You don't have to look old when you are a Grandmother.
I am sure you are enjoying those beautiful puppies in your garden along with their Mum, I hope Blackie is coping well with all of those hungry mouths to feed.
I am happy that you have collected lots of love and rain water over the years, thank you for your thoughts but I am still searching for some inspiration, something original to post. xoxoxo ♡

dianne said...

Sorry I also meant to wish you a lovely weekend too dear Anna-Lys . xoxoo ♡
