And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
Lyrics: from "After The Storm" - Mumford and Sons

oh .. i see i come to visit you at the very end of your day .when you have just posted this. it's the beginning of my morning. i hope you have had a lovely saturday, dianne. spring should be in the air on your side of the world.
i love seeing your drawings, dianne. they are lovely ..
and fragile due to the emotions portrayed.
and my coffee just finished perking. perfect timing!
Thank you dearest Foamy , actually I have posted this at an earlier time than most Saturday evenings.
I have written two poems, one today, it was sad, reflecting my thoughts from earlier this morning, both were far too melancholy so I decided not to post them.
I'm pleased that you enjoy my drawings, yes they do reflect my emotions, but I must practice more.
Yes it has been quite warm here today, Spring has arrived and all around the garden there is new life and lovely fragrances.
I hope your Fall weather is still mild, not getting too cold.
Enjoy that coffee and have a lovely Saturday!

dianne,
you've been hiding
your talent for drawing
for far too long and must bring us
more -- how about a drawing of your garden,
or something in or from your garden -- i think that lots of bloggers would be interested
v. nice work, d

That's very kind of you dear /t. but I am only an amateur when it comes to drawing and my poetry, my fault though I need to practice more.
Yes I shall be adding more of my drawings to my blog, some flowers perhaps,I will think of something. :)

Lovely drawing... and, this is true...
Now I can appreciate Mumford. I wasn't sure before. That drawing is awesome. Great to find your blog.
"and piss and vinegar run through your veins..."
Thank you dear Opaque , pleased you liked my drawing, it illustrates just how I was feeling and I hope those words are true, I am counting on them. xoxo ♡
Thank you dear Tabitha , yes sometimes when we are feeling very much rejected, words like that can give us some hope, well I am hoping so and I have to have something to hold on to.
Pleased that you liked my drawing and that you found my blog!
xoxoxo ♡
Oh Phossy dear, do you really think that about me, I thought I had warm blood running through my veins?
As for the lyrics from the song well I have to have some hope, I have to have something to hold on to, reading them gave me some comfort.
xoxoxo ♡
That is a very evocative drawing, Dianne.
(I think blogger ate my first comment - if not just delete this one.)
Thanks dear Lee , it is to illustrate my feeling of sadness, shutting myself away from hurt, but please don't be alarmed my friend, I shall get over it, I always manage to. xoxoxo ♡
I love the drawing Dianne! I didn't realise you could draw - I must look at some of your past postings to find some more. :) The only things I can draw are eyes, mouths and noses.... but if I put them together to make a face, it looks awful! :O)
p.s. I musn't be paying attention.... I've just looked at a couple of posts down and seen one your drawings. I noticed your signiature in the corner. Duh, I need to wake up. :O)
Thanks Lesley dear, pleased you liked my drawing,I am just an amateur. There are a few examples of my art scattered throughout my blog, my Avatar for instance.
I find that faces can be difficult sometimes, plus hands, fingers and toes. :-)

Art makes life elegant, Your sketch is really wonderful, glad to see more of your talents.
love to you!

OH Dianne,,i downloaded this sketch of yours and realised that i didnt ask your permission, so here i m asking your permissin to keep it hoping you 'll accept, ofcourse its purely for the pleasure of seeing it in a large format.
Thanks
Fine drawing, Dianne. And the lyrics are appropriate.
Dawn follows night.
Thank you my dearest friend COL , I'm so pleased that you like my sketch, sometimes I need to illustrate how I am feeling, the poems that I had written were far too sad and I think my followers tire of sadness and woe.
One day, if I am very fortunate I might be able to write a poem which is almost as beautiful as those which you have written, those from your heart.
I posted the lyrics from the song 'After the Storm',as they are words of hope.
Of course you can keep a copy of my sketch, I am flattered. :) When you enlarge it you will see what an amateur I am, I had so much trouble with the toes and kept erasing them, so much so that I almost wore a hole in the sketch paper, so in the end I had to leave the toes just as they are, not exactly as I had wanted.
Love to you too. xoxoxo ♡
Thank you dearest Kathleen , I'm pleased that you liked my sketch.
Those lyrics are filled with hope and what you have said is so true, the light does come after darkness, I am counting on it.
xoxoxo ♡
I get sad sometimes myself, but the meds really, really help.
Thanks Phossy dear, I'm pleased that the meds help you, I don't like taking medications unless completely necessary... I'm not depressed just temporarily sad and feeling better each day.
You are fortunate to have Mrs Phos, a wonderful person to share your life, sometimes just having that special person in your life to talk to,to be with can make a lot of difference to one's happiness and life.
xoxoxo ♡
Just kind of smooth out the rough edges a bit.
Lol! Phossy dear, do you mean smooth out the rough egdes on me or the sketch? :)
I know what you mean Phossy, sometimes some medication can help smooth out the rough times, thank you my friend. xoxoxo ♡
beautiful sketch Dianne...
Thank you dear Shweta , I am so pleased that you liked my sketch.
It is so lovely to have you return for a little while, good luck with your new term of studies at college.
love, Dianne. xoxoxo ♡
Those heels... They are just lifted slightly off the ground, aren't they? Toes pressing. I - we have to try. Just try. However difficult it is and however dark it is around us. However alone, desperately alone, we are. Back against the wall is no real comfort. In fact, it hurts and feels cold. This amazing sketch sent chills through me. Familiar. All too familiar. Thank you, Dianne, for being there, when I wanted you to be there. Idea: without giving away too much to those who have not seen the films yet, how about commenting to other visitors about Amelie, for example, or The Double Life Of Veronique? They are both very related and I will post about this more in the near future. Sometimes, people just need to know that they are not alone in their feelings.
Yes dear Alexandre, the heels are slightly lifted, my toes pressing down, they are tense, one arm encircling my legs to pull them closer, the other to bury my face in, to hide the tears, a sort of self hug to comfort myself as I am backed into a corner feeling very much alone and nowhere to turn...locked away in the shadows of solitude.
'Back to the wall' as you have said is not the answer but sometimes this solitude is needed when there is utter frustration, when life goes nowhere, when hope is lost and we lose those people we count on so much to just be there for us, our lifelines. They don't have to do anything, just knowing they are there is enough.
Thank you for noticing, for understanding, I know these same feelings are very familiar to you.
I have always been here for you Alexandre when you needed me,I guess I always will be, my affection and friendship is unconditional.
I have briefly mentioned The Double Life of Véronique here and I did a post about the film Amélie on February, 2nd of this year. It was a part of my grieving process when you had left for such a long time, in fact you missed so many of my better posts whilst you were away, but I understand. If you remember it is at this post where you did return for a short while and left some communications for me.
Yes these two films are about feelings and very much related by profound emotions but I shall leave these posts for you as you are more perceptive, well versed and acquainted with the subtle aspects of these films.
Thank you for this comment and I look forward to your future posts on both of these films.
Sad but hopeful.
Yes dear Leovi , one always has to hold on to hope.
xoxoxo ♡
