And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

Bright Star
Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.

Where is your Love?
I hear your softest whispers
as you come into my dreams
You come to me so softly
just before the dawn
In that quiet time of dreaming
before night slips into morn
Your words are those of sweetness
they fill me with desire
When you tell me that you want me
you set my heart on fire
As you hold me so closely
hear the softness of my sighs
I feel your soft caresses
and melt into your arms
One more lasting kiss
I am completely disarmed
Your kisses are so tempting
Oh how can I resist . . .
It would be so lovely to surrender
and feel the pleasure of your charms
To give into my feelings
Take me, love me, I am yours . . .
But in the sobering light of morning
when I find that you have gone
I would have to ask myself
Where is your love?

See My Heart, Feel My Heart ...
Dearest one,
Do you see my heart?
Each day it fades just a little
Its canvas is no longer bright
With the warm colours of love
It is painted with my tears
Feel my heart, it is breaking
I had allowed myself to hope, to dream
Of the impossible, it would seem
Now everything is gone from me
There is no longer any certainty
Removed by the coldness of reality
There was a time when being together
Was something I had wished for
I hoped that you would want me
I cannot feel this any more
The candle of hope
Which once burned so brightly
Has faded, is extinguished
Loneliness consumes me
And takes with it the light
The hours pass so slowly
When everything is night . . .
