Trees and Some Valley Vistas

I went for a walk this evening, around 6pm as I wanted to capture some photos of the valley and the trees before the sun had set. I spotted a few good vantage places yesterday afternoon but when I arrived there today someone had parked their car and boat trailer where I would have been able to get the best photo. So I climbed over the railing to get a better view, not much space to move around without falling and not exactly what I had wanted but OK I guess; sometimes we have to compromise when faced with unwanted obstacles ... I should have climbed on top of the roof of his car, then I would have really been able to get the photo I was hoping for, but I don't think the owner would have been impressed. I hope you like these, it was still very warm, the sky was a soft grey, not much blue to be seen and in some of the pics you can almost see the mist rising from the valley floor.
Some photos were taken with my cell phone camera as my camera battery went flat, maybe not a good day for photographs after all ... ♥

Did I Hear You ... ?

Did I hear you
Was that you ...

I thought I caught
a glimpse of you ...

As you slipped by me
you spoke not one word ...

In silence, not to be heard?

I felt your presence
I felt your warmth

I thought I could reach out
and touch you
as you came to earth ...

Just then
as I looked at the moonlight
was that you ... ?

Thought I heard you breathing
or was it my heart beating
from the closeness of you ...

Or just the breeze
like me sighing softly
as it moved through the leaves

Or perhaps it was
just a beautiful dream ... ?

Here Is My Heart

The Internet is such a vast space but recently I have found that there is another blog which is also named 'Here Is My Heart', though not to be confused with mine which has a URL of 'here is my heart - dianne blogspot'... so please don't confuse us as I would not like to take credit for anything my counterpart has written nor would I like you to judge me for anything they may have said or done.
I have found many references to my blog on the Net, some just under the title of 'here is my heart', with extracts of posts I have written and some of your comments, the most recent my message to Alexander Dyle... and if you're out there and happen to stop by dear friend please let me know that you are alright... I would have waited for you two more days or three, longer if needed, I will be by my tree if you're passing by this way.
Your favourite quote from your favourite film, I think. ;)

By following some links I have been on a journey back in time and have come across some posts, some sad, but for the most part happy and comments many of you have left me, some friendly advice, some praise, most of which are really lovely... some I should have taken more seriously or maybe I was pre-occupied at the time, some contained messages and links of such kindness that I now see were opportunities of so much more, so I hope I haven't let them pass me by ...
Also according to the Net by following some links, I am also a woman from the USA, who is looking for companionship and love on one those dating agency sites...no that's not me, I'm that woman over there in the sidebar on my blog.

I also found this song, Here Is My Heart it's cute, thought I would share it with you; a song by Kim Walker and mimed by Violent Servant, no that is not me either, I can assure you that I am very much a female.
I looked for a music video of the artist Kim Walker but I was unable to find the song, so this is just a few lyrics for you ... I would have liked to have listened to the complete song myself...

A Message of Hope for Alexander Dyle

Sadly, our dear friend and enigmatic character Alexander Dyle has closed his very interesting and entertaining blog 'The Theatre Of The Third Kind'.
His last post on January 1st and I am paraphrasing here was to say farewell due to lack of interest from followers and his inability to maintain the site due to tiredness, to me he sounded sad and disillusioned ... such a loss to those of us who were faithful followers of his site.
He graciously thanked us for our thoughtful comments and e-mails as they meant a lot to him, said goodbye for now and offered his sincerest gratitudes to everyone who followed his daily posts... a true gentleman.
Dear Alexander you are not alone, you have touched the lives of so many of us and I hope that this will not be a permanent absence, you will be welcomed back at any time after you have rested, if and when you feel you have the strength to continue on, we look forward to your return as Alexander Dyle or any new persona you choose.
I personally have thoroughy enjoyed our missives both in the comments and our e-mails, you and your words will be sadly missed.
Until our paths cross once more,be safe, hold onto hope and look for that which is still good in this world.
It is there for those sensitive enough to perceive it.
Take care dear friend ...
Much love Dianne. xo ♥

Between The Moments

There is beauty
in the spaces
between the moments in time
There is love yet unspoken
in the spaces of time
How wanted are your words
between the lines
How needed you are in all
the moments of time
There is love yet unspoken
between the lines
You will always be wanted
in my moments of time ...

Hanging On A String

Riding on an endless carousel of wishes, hopes and dreams
And it seems that i loose more than i gain

All the same i remain hanging on a string

Is it wrong

Will it save me from the fall
Or will it just be broken by the wind
As it spins

All i save seems to just get taken all away

Well it seems like life is just a game of faith
No mistake

Always try to give more than you take

Always try to make a little more

Out of nothing, if not less
Always better than your best

As you try

Will you fly

Will you sail through the sky

And leave it all behind with yesterday

Will you say i have faith

And that's one thing they'll never take away

If i had a chance, lord one more chance to try

I would start again, nothing to pretend

Without a lie

I would try

I would fly

I would sail through the sky

And leave the misery with yesterday

And i'll say i have faith

And that's one thing they'll never take away...

Performed by Psychotic Waltz

I'm OK everyone, I just like the song.
:-)

Thank you Dimos ... ♥
