I went for a walk this evening, around 6pm as I wanted to capture some photos of the valley and the trees before the sun had set. I spotted a few good vantage places yesterday afternoon but when I arrived there today someone had parked their car and boat trailer where I would have been able to get the best photo. So I climbed over the railing to get a better view, not much space to move around without falling and not exactly what I had wanted but OK I guess; sometimes we have to compromise when faced with unwanted obstacles ... I should have climbed on top of the roof of his car, then I would have really been able to get the photo I was hoping for, but I don't think the owner would have been impressed. I hope you like these, it was still very warm, the sky was a soft grey, not much blue to be seen and in some of the pics you can almost see the mist rising from the valley floor.Some photos were taken with my cell phone camera as my camera battery went flat, maybe not a good day for photographs after all ... ♥
