The song of the wind
Whispers through the leaves
And carries warm thoughts
Of your words to me

So many memories
We have made and shared
My thoughts carry me away
To the times when you cared

But no more time for sadness
Or what could have been
I only want the happiness
That returns in my dreams

To think our hearts came together
In the beauty of a tree
One heart touched the other
Oh sweet memory

But now you have gone
And I don't know where you are
Perhaps this time forever
Or will you return to me?

Whether near or far
