When all hope of love has gone

As the shadows of night enfold me
Alone with my thoughts once more
The feelings of loss torment me
And arouse all of my fears ...
Why did you have to leave me?
Now all nights will end in tears
No more precious moments
Someone else will share your dreams ...
It is too painful to imagine
I don't know where you are
You have left me here in silence
Alone with just my tears ...
My heart falls by the wayside
Along with my broken dreams
No hope of a tomorrow now
Not with you it would seem ...
In a cold and sobering silence
It takes its bitter blow
I really have nothing left
Even hope has deserted me now ...
