Memories of Green Places

Upon reflection tonight
I find my thoughts
Searching through memories
of places we have been
Thoughts of green places
where once we wandered
amongst verdant vines and leaves
Walking together hand in hand
united in hand and heart
Soft greens and sunlight
their magic bound us
forever, never to part
Where love and light met
and shone with such brilliance
And danced around our hearts ...

  6. Yes dear M , it is lovely to be beneath the canopy of leaves and see the beautiful soft green light shining through...
Your trees with their fresh new green colours must be so beautiful.

I saw part of the new episode of the Dr and was so bored with it, I did not watch it all...

  14. I'll tell you one thing, I like Lay down under the trees and gaze through the green leaves of light rays that pass and shine. It's like life, but is thick the way, you always see a ray of sunshine and there is hope, sometimes of love, life, happiness ...
thanks for these words of optimism, of longing, too, with your special signature.
    Happy week friend!!

  21. I was bound in a forest once. However it was not nearly as romantic and when I came to, my little pug wallet was missing.

  22. Oh Pugsly , you poor little love, how could anyone be so unkind to you. No it would not have been romantic at all and they stole your little pug wallet ... shame on them.

It is so nice to see you here again my sweet, I have missed you and your amusing comments.

Take care and some hugs for you!

Yes the green leaves in their soft light are beautiful with those little rays of sunshine breaking through, or 'blinks' as you have said which sounds so lovely. An element of sadness that what began there did not last. Love and hugs to you too my friend. :)
