Another Season Passes...

Time passes so quickly
While you are away
The cold of Winter will soon be gone
The sweet beauty of Spring beckons
When the days will come alive
With the warmth of sunshine
And songs of birds
New buds will blossom
And colour the meadows
Their fragrant flowers scenting the air
Small insects will flit from flower to flower
Skimming over ponds and brooks
Leaving little ripples on the surface
Their gossamer wings shimmering
Like jewels in the sunshine
The soft breeze will stir the wild grasses
Carrying their soothing song near and afar
The trees will be newly leaved
In anticipation of Summer
And Summer will follow soon after
Another season will pass too soon.
Where are you dear one?
It seems too long
Since I have read your words
There is an emptiness in my seasons
Without your presence here...

Thank you, I am feeling a little better, some sleep has helped.

I hope he returns but I am never sure if he even visits and reads the poems which I write for him, I'm sure I am not that important to him...at least I hope others enjoy my words.

    Take care lil Sweet Pea!

  26. Hello Dianne!

I'm a portuguese woman and I found your commentary at the Yannis' blog.
You live in Austrália, as I saw in your profile.

I don't know how to speak english very weel, but I undrestood + or - what you have writen.

PS: mon blog a traducteur. Merci!

  30. Hello, dear Dianne!

Thanks for your visit and agreable commentary.
I see. You use the traductor for writing the two languages.
It's not perfect, but your friends of Spain
and France willl understand you better.
    Then, I'll write in English.

Have a good day, my dear friend!

    Roger
