Sweet petals of the rose
I send to thee
Messages of love
From my heart
On wings spread far
To set them free...
No creature of beauty
should be caged
Nor silent kept
Set free to sing 
Her songs of love
In Earths fine air…

    Thank you dear Leovi for your lovely words. This poem has a double meaning, though my writing may not have made it clear...the bird is carrying the rose petals and the messages of love, it is the creature of beauty and in doing so is itself set free.

    Of course I remember you dear Patrycja , I hope you are well now and not as ill as you were. I hope you are enjoying your life in Dublin?
    I am not so well at present, I have had quite a few medical problems this year and at present I am in a lot of pain with 'shingles' herpes zoster which has presented itself because of having chicken pox as a child and my immune system has been compromised because of my recent illnesses and surgery.
