Thank you dear Yannis for your lovely words and comment regarding my poem "By The Light of the Moon".
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person and perhaps the only person to comment here.
The music is not the original for the film's dance scene here is a link to the original.
I love the tempo of this music by Nouvelle Vague and this trio dancing the "Madison". There is a feeling of innocence and spontaneity, natural and unconstrained as they perform this dance.
I enjoy the freedom of expression in French films.
The lyrics may be a little risqué but I don't think they are offensive.
I found this little gem whilst searching for another song and loved it and thought I would share it here.

ReplyDeleteThank you Annie dear, this video and music had the same effect on me.
ReplyDeleteI love dancing, more so when I was younger, a slower pace now.
When I was 17,I had a kilt skirt just like Odile's in a "Black Watch" tartan with a silver kilt pin, a jumper/sweater like hers in a dark charcoal grey, black tights, different shoes. Odile reminds me of myself back in the 70's, another world, my long hair tied back with a ribbon, I would have liked a hat like that. :-)
