ReplyDeleteIt was inspired by a lovely 'slide show' I was sent for Valentine's Day from a friend in Spain...The Face of Love...El Rostro del Amor, the sentiment is lovely, it shows the many faces of love in images with a Spanish text.
I understand some Spanish but not enough, so my dear friend Elia in Spain was kind enough to translate it for me.

The weather here is awful, hot in morning then a thunderstorm with heavy rain every afternoon and evening, it now feels as if I live in the tropics.

Juan, mi amigo, gracias, yo sé lo que es amar tanto a alguien que no puede soportar vivir sin ellas. Usted encontrar la felicidad otra vez y luego se quita. Cometí el error de amar a alguien que no me amaba. Pensé que le importaba un poco, pero, obviamente, no. El dolor de la separación es insoportable pero no hay nada que pueda hacer para cambiar nada, tengo que tratar de seguir adelante con mi vida. El tiempo pasa pero los recuerdos tristes volver a atormentarme, se necesita algún tiempo para sanar y sentirse completo otra vez. Estoy buscando una sensación de serenidad ahora, estoy tan cansado de hacer daño.
