Amidst the Golden Light

Perhaps in another life
In another place in time
You will return to me
Amidst the golden light
I shall be waiting there
With hope in my heart
In the crisp chill of the air
Of an Autumn afternoon
We shall walk together
On a path of golden leaves
Falling all around us
In a cathedral of trees
Hand in hand together
With love in our hearts
On and on forever
Never to part ...

  9. This is brilliantly BEAUTIFUL, Dianne! I really love it :)

    "We shall walk together
On a path of golden leaves
    Falling all around us
    In a cathedral of trees" ~ LOVE x 3!

A beautiful story of hope which turns my thoughts to Enya's song title of "Hope Has A Place in the Lover's Heart"

It truly does and also in the hearts of everyone you touch with this poem :)

Hope you're enjoying your weekend ♥

  11. to take refuge in the cathedral of trees. no one is ever alone in a forest. "meet me in the forest tonight and we shall dance by golden moonlight". I love your love of golden and you use it so well. You should check out "blurb" and make a little book of poetry. and send me one immediately. Love to you sweet girl.

It is Spring here and the weather has been quite mild but the last two days have been very warm, an indication of a hot Summer to come.
I find myself thinking of Autumn days, with that golden light that seems to touch everything, the warm colours of the grasses and the crisp coolness in the air; such a lovely season.

  69. Amiga Dienne.
    .
Pero no me quiero meter a filósofo,no
    estoy preparado para ello.

  71. Amigo Juan , creo que cuando me muera mi cuerpo volverá a la Tierra, la decadencia y dar nueva vida a las demás criaturas y de los árboles, no sé dónde está mi espíritu, la fuerza de vida dentro de mí va a ir.
