Yesterday's Flowers

Yesterday's flowers
Were gathered with care
Fragrant beauty
In the soft morning air
Sparkling with dew drops
In the sun's first light
Petals and buds
Nature's delights
Yellow for friendship
White for pure love
Shining so brightly
Sunshine from above
Their beauty is before you
No more words can I say
Their perfection delights me
In this wondrous bouquet ...

Poem by Dianne Dee ... ♥

Flowers from my Spring garden - Yellow Clivea, Yellow Calendula, Nasturtiums, Freesias, Grevillea, White Dendrobium Orchids and White Geranium. Please enlarge image for a detailed view.

  49. If those really are dew drops, then they aren't the same flowers I encountered on my walk.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hello Pugsly my sweet, thanks for stopping by.
These flowers aren't 'dew drops', there is a list of their floral names below my poem.
My flowers have 'dew drops' or 'water droplets' on their petals.

Perhaps the flowers you encountered on your walk were 'Snow Drops', they have white petals with a tiny green spot and are very pretty.

  66. Thank you dearest chickory , I am so pleased that you visited, I so wanted you to see my flowers. It is a bouquet of sunshine, so many shades of yellow and white and finally two of my yellow nasturtiums flowered. The native orchids are beautiful, they are so small and flower in a cluster on a stem. I had so much fun picking these and arranging them, they still have the morning dew on them and the fragrance was so lovely.
Pleased you enjoyed my poem too!
    Thank you sweet girl. :)
