How Gentle The Heart ...

How gentle the heart
Who nurtures love
Love that is broken
And lost its way
And guides this love
Over darkened paths
With a light that glows
From an inner warmth
To find its way
To a waiting heart
One that has hoped
For a chance to give
To mend and grow
And let love live ...

  12. Most charming writing, Dianne. I guess love is like gardening. Some things fail to grow, others flourish. The trick is learn what grows in your soil and to keep planting.

  13. Thank you dear J Cosmo for your very sweet comment.
Yes, sometimes love does flourish in the garden of the heart, but love has to search for a heart where it will be encouraged and nurtured to live and grow.

  29. Hello Pugsley my sweet, so lovely to have you here again.
A Seeing-Eye Pug for Love! So you will guide people to love or are you saying that love is blind? Which is sometimes true as we don't always fall in love with the sight of someone, sometimes it can be 'love at first sight' but usually it takes much more than that.
How much are your fees? :)

  48. Actually my heart had been waiting for me to get off of my can and provide it with more oxygen via exercise. I keep telling it to pipe down or I'll have the doctor get out tha paddles. However that form of waiting is not anywhere nearly as poetic.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thank you Pugsley my sweet for this lovely comment, yes you must take good care of your heart, you don't want it to be violated with those paddles, not a good way to get it started again and no, not poetic at all.
