Buds of Promise
My softest petals I save for thee I turn my face for your sweetest kiss In your light I glow for thee Buds of promise shall bloom for this And in youthful blossom await your kiss . . .

Thank you dear HLiza I'm pleased that you liked my poem, you don't have to be a flower person to feel this poem, there is a deeper meaning here of love and promise.
It's so nice to have you here again. I'm so pleased that you are enjoying my poems, some are better than others ... it depends on what has inspired me and the feelings and thoughts which start the process, whether consciously or not.
Dianne, thank you for your comments at Hill Country Mysteries. Losing Harry threw me topsy turvy for a while and I didn't spend much time at the computer, but I saw your words and appreciate your kindness.
Beautiful language and composition Dianne it feels like You are writing in British English ... it is so beautiful! And the picture stand out lovely to the black background and Your lovely poem. A master piece (again!!!)
